Lead the steel fabrication team at Ocean Steel Limited as a Shop Foreman. Oversee the work of welders and machine operators while ensuring high-quality and safety standards.

Ocean Steel Limited, a leader in steel fabrication, is seeking a skilled Shop Foreman. This supervisory role requires experience in welding and fabrication, as well as strong communication skills to manage a diverse team, including apprentices and Journey persons. Successful candidates will also engage in safety management practices to uphold Ocean Steel's commitment to quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise welders, fitters, and machine operators in a union environment

• Schedule and organize parts production for shop locations

• Ensure products are fabricated safely and efficiently

• Enforce policies and procedures consistently

• Provide coaching and training for employee development

Requirements:

• Experienced tradesperson or engineering technology graduate

• Proven supervisory experience in fabrication

• Welding/Steel Fabrication Trade Certification preferred

• Proficient in MS software programs

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
