Marketing Intern​/Co-op Student

Chinova Bioworks is a growing biotechnology company developing natural, clean-label solutions to help protect food and reduce food waste. Our innovative ingredients are used by food and beverage manufacturers around the world.

We are looking for a motivated Marketing Co-op Student / Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced B2B environment.

The Role:

The Marketing Co-op Student / Intern will support the Marketing team across content development, digital marketing, market research, CRM management, and marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how marketing supports business development in the food ingredient and biotechnology industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the development of marketing content, including website content, presentations, newsletters, social media, and sales materials.

Assist with managing and updating the company's CRM and marketing databases.

Conduct market, customer, and competitor research and summarize key insights.

Support social media and digital marketing activities.

Assist with email marketing campaigns and marketing communications.

Help prepare marketing materials for trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.

Track and report on marketing activities and performance metrics.

Collaborate with the Sales and R&D teams to develop materials that support customer and business development activities.

Assist with other marketing projects and initiatives as required.

What We’re Looking For:

Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Business, Communications, or related post-secondary program, preferably with a co-op placement requirement; or a recent graduate looking for practical marketing experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.

Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.

Interest in digital marketing, content creation, and market research.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Previous experience with CRM, Canva, social media, or marketing analytics is an asset.
