Communications Strategist Hybrid

This is a full-time, one-year term position located in Fredericton or Saint John, reporting to the Institutional Communications Manager. Your responsibilities will include providing counsel on executive communications, creating compelling content, and ensuring effective messaging across various platforms. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders will enhance institutional priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare news releases and background reports for media

• Develop key messages and presentation materials for executives

• Analyze and verify content accuracy through research

• Collaborate to generate ideas for communication strategies

• Implement strategic plans for organizational initiatives

Requirements:

• University degree in communications, public relations, or related field

• At least 7 years in executive communications support

• Superior storytelling, writing, and editing skills

• Experience in public relations and interpersonal skills

• Proven project management and time-management skills
