Horizon Health Network, the largest health authority in New Brunswick, is seeking a Geriatric Nurse to deliver both inpatient and outpatient services. This role involves providing consultations and assessments at the Geriatric Medicine Clinic and collaborating on the care of older adults in rehabilitation. Candidates should be able to engage in clinical teaching for residents and have opportunities for administrative involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish a full-time practice for geriatric patients

• Assess and manage outpatient services effectively

• Provide inpatient consultations at local hospitals

• Consult with nursing home residents as needed

• Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Requirements:

• Valid medical license in New Brunswick

• Geriatric Medicine specialist credentials

• Good standing with the College of Physicians

• Current malpractice insurance

• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
