Horizon Health Network invites passionate midwives to join its team in Fredericton, New Brunswick, offering primary maternity care opportunities in a welcoming environment. Flexible full-time, part-time, and casual roles available.
We are seeking midwives for the Fredericton Midwifery Centre, which prioritizes patient-centered care and teamwork. Midwives will assess, monitor, and provide care for women throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. You will work in a unionized setting, enjoying paid vacation, sick leave, and perks for professional development, as well as robust support for both hospital and home births.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess women during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum

• Provide care in homes, communities, and hospitals

• Adhere to midwifery ethics and community standards

• Support both hospital and home births effectively

• Maintain teamwork and collaboration with health providers
Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited midwifery program

• Registration eligibility with the Midwifery Council of New Brunswick

• Possess a valid driver's license and vehicle

• Ability to regularly attend work

• Clear background check compliance
