Forensic Nurse Examiner at Horizon Health

As a Forensic Nurse Examiner, you will deliver medical-forensic exams and crisis support to those affected by sexual assault and intimate partner violence. This role requires at least two years of Registered Nursing experience and current certification in SANE, along with excellent assessment and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical-forensic care to trauma victims

• Conduct crisis intervention and emotional support

• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality during examinations

• Perform forensic sample collection and analysis

• Collaborate with advocacy programs for patient support

Requirements:

• Active registration with CNNB

• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nursing experience

• Current BCLS and SANE certifications

• Good work record; physically capable of duties

• Willingness to undergo additional training as needed
