Evening Registered Practical Nurse at Extendicare

This permanent full-time role involves working as part of a dedicated inter-professional team  a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will engage in patient-oriented care and develop personalized care plans. Your experience will be pivotal in monitoring resident health and coordinating care effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and administer medications

• Conduct clinical assessments and update care plans

• Manage care assignments within the nursing team

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid

• Offer education to residents and families

Requirements:

• Valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse

• Experience in geriatric care preferred

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• Willing to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Check
