Public Health Nurse at Horizon

Join Horizon as a Registered Nurse Class A in Fredericton. Provide essential public health nursing services to enhance community well-being through collaboration and service delivery.

In this role, you'll engage in multidisciplinary teamwork within various public health programs like Healthy Families and Immunization. With a focus on health promotion and disease prevention, you will counsel individuals and build partnerships with community services and government agencies to optimize public health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage caseloads by scheduling and prioritizing patients

• Implement and evaluate service plans with clients and teams

• Maintain documentation following established standards

• Foster relationships with community partners and colleagues

• Participate in staff development and orientation programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and NANB registration

• Minimum 1 year of Public Health nursing experience

• Skills in community assessment and program evaluation

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Up to date BCLS Certification

Contribute to community health improvement and prevention initiatives at Horizon as a dedicated Registered Nurse.
