Position: Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse Role

In this role, you’re expected to manage medical files, conduct patient assessments, and communicate with applicants at the Canadian Forces Recruitment Centre. A thorough understanding of medical standards and recruitment policies will enhance your effectiveness as an LPN in this setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out medical duties according to CFRC protocols

• Collect detailed medical histories during assessments

• Review and interpret laboratory and medical information

• Conduct physical exams as necessary

• Collaborate effectively with LPNs and other healthcare staff

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of relevant nursing experience within the last three years

• Valid provincial license and practical nursing credentials

• Current N95 mask fit certificate

• WHMIS certification dated within two years

• Familiarity with health information privacy standards
