Registered Nurses provide patient-centred care in Fredericton, New Brunswick, using clinical competency, critical thinking, and the nursing process.
Horizon Health Network is hiring a temporary part-time Registered Nurse Class A for 4SE Med-Surg. The position serves patients with complex acute and chronic care needs. Successful candidates administer treatments, evaluate progress, and collaborate with hospital departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify patient needs and develop nursing care plans
- Administer ordered treatments and medications
- Observe, record, and evaluate patient progress
- Supervise care techniques provided by team members
- Maintain confidential, clean, orderly, safe environments
- Current registration with the College of Nursing of New Brunswick
- Experience and interest in complex acute and chronic care
- Effective clinical competency and critical thinking
- Current CPR certification
- Flexibility, judgment, confidentiality, and patient advocacy
