Data Analysis Research Assistant

Join DataNB in Fredericton as a Research Assistant, where you will focus on data analysis and research support in a hybrid work model. This full-time position is ideal for analytical minds passionate about policy research.

In this role, you will assist the Research Manager by conducting in-depth literature searches and preparing comprehensive reviews. You will also provide methodological support to analysts and take part in planning research initiatives. Your work will involve preparing statistical charts and supporting data stewardship tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth literature reviews and prepare reports

• Support data analysts in validation and documentation

• Participate in planning and development of research projects

• Prepare drafts for conferences and presentations

• Manage project documentation as per guidelines

Requirements:

• Degree focused on health sciences, economics, or statistics

• Previous experience in a research setting

• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form

• Knowledge of statistical software and MS Office

• Strong analytical and organizational skills for project management
