DataNB Research Assistant Position

Become a Research Assistant with DataNB in Fredericton, NB and engage in meaningful research that shapes public health policy. This hybrid position offers opportunities in both qualitative and quantitative analysis.

In this full-time role, you'll work closely with researchers and data analysts, supporting them through literature searches and methodological application. Your tasks will include preparing research outputs, assisting in grant applications, and validating datasets. Collaborate on projects that promote the social prosperity of New Brunswickers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth literature searches and reviews

• Support researchers in quantitative and qualitative analysis

• Prepare research abstracts, charts, and conference material

• Assist with ethical review and grant proposal submissions

• Generate graphs and tables for reports and publications

Requirements:

• University degree focused on health sciences, economics, or statistics

• Previous experience in a research environment

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with statistical software and MS Office

• Demonstrated self-starting ability and problem-solving
