Drive product innovation as a Research Technician with Chinova Bioworks in Fredericton, NB. Prepare prototypes, conduct microbiology research, and support the development of natural preservatives.

Chinova Bioworks is seeking a dedicated Research Technician for immediate hire. This role involves preparing chemical solutions and conducting microbiological analyses to support R&D activities. You will also independently manage projects, perform laboratory testing, and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare food and beverage prototypes and experimental formulations

• Conduct microbiological research on bacterial and yeast species

• Perform laboratory testing and analyze experimental data

• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment for accuracy

• Coordinate shipment of research samples while managing inventory

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field

• Experience in a laboratory environment

• Knowledge of microbiology and food science principles

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
