Security Operations Manager at UNB

Lead security initiatives as the Security Operations Manager for the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. Oversee campus safety, crime prevention, and security operations for a welcoming university environment.

In this full-time position, you will report to the Director of Security and coordinate the daily operations of the Security Office. Your focus will include managing a team, supervising patrol staff, and implementing effective security plans for events and emergencies. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining safety across the Fredericton and Moncton campuses, ensuring compliance with university standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily security operations across campus locations

• Coordinate staff scheduling and supervise security personnel

• Develop security plans for events and emergencies

• Liaise with police and emergency response partners

• Oversee the campus camera network and security systems

Requirements:

• Post-secondary training in a related field

• 5+ years in emergency management experience

• 3+ years in a supervisory or management role

• Strong communication skills

• Budget management experience preferred
