Working within Child & Family Programs of the Ministry of Social Services, this part-time position emphasizes immediate responses to urgent needs in the community. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in a human services field and strong crisis response capabilities. A valid driver's license in Saskatchewan is required, and flexible hours are essential for effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage emergency interventions for families in crisis
• Record and document critical case actions
• Collaborate with supervisors and local agencies
• Assess risk and develop safety plans for children
• Provide transportation and financial aid during crises
Requirements:
• Educational background in human services preferred
• Relevant experience in crisis response settings
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Legally eligible to operate a vehicle in Saskatchewan
• Capability to lift and assist children as needed
