Neqotkuk, Elsipogtog, and Esgenoôpetitj. As a tribal council, Mawiw is mandated to provide capacity building services to its three partnering First Nations. Our organization receives core funding from Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) and project-based funding from a number of federal, provincial and other sources.

Qualifications
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Prior experience working with First Nations, preferably in social development or health
Experience working with Jordan's Principle is considered an asset
Prior experience establishing strong client relationships
Knowledge and understanding of First Nation history, culture and the unique experiences and issues of First Nation communities
Demonstrate leadership and communication skills
Experience with database and/or computer skills
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Must possess a certificate or diploma/degree in either Social Work, Health, Education or Human Resources and/or Work Experience Equivalency
Possess a positive attitude and be enthusiastic/passionate about delivering the best services to First Nation children and their families
Highly motivated, energetic and creative
Demonstrate professional, appropriate, effective and tactful communication skills including verbal and non-verbal
Possess good writing and electronic data entry skills
Criminal Record check/Vulnerable record check
Must have a Valid driver's license and access to a car

Responsibilities
Position overview:
The Jordan's Principle Case Coordinator works collaboratively with the Jordan's Principle Case Manager, families, First Nation communities, and service providers to support children and families in accessing timely and coordinated services. Based primarily in the Fredericton office, the Case Coordinator is responsible for intake, assessment, referral and service coordination, database management, follow-up, and community outreach. The Case Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for families and communities, providing ongoing support, advocacy, information, and navigation throughout the Jordan's Principle process.
The position also supports awareness and understanding of Jordan's Principle, maintains accurate and timely documentation and reporting, and contributes to continuous improvement of coordinated service delivery.
