Object Tester

This is a temporary replacement position within the Engineering department.

Reporting to Engineering, the object tester helps us improve and train our AI-based threat detection systems by replicating real-life scenarios in our lab.

• Perform repeated walkthroughs while carrying a range of test items, primarily through a series of pillars around 20’/6m in height. The tester must maintain a consistent walking speed throughout.
• Accurately operate from a checklist, ensuring every walkthrough is consistent with its requirements.
• Maintain and organize the objects used for testing and contribute feedback to improve testing procedures.

• Able to walk continuously and consistently for long periods of time while carrying objects that weigh up to 8lbs/3.5kg. Breaks are provided and chairs for rest, but this role requires a lot of walking. Robust attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
