Back End Developer; Fredericton

Position: Back End Developer (Fredericton)

We are looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Backend developer with experience in Kubernetes to work with global development teams from Europe, Canada, and the US. You will be involved in designing, developing, deploying, and managing scalable and resilient backend services within a containerized, cloud‑native environment, and on‑premise customer settings.

The candidate needs a strong foundation in backend development principles, coupled with hands‑on expertise in leveraging Kubernetes for orchestrating microservices and ensuring high availability and performance of our applications. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, Dev Ops engineers to deliver innovative software solutions.
Responsibilities   Design, develop, and maintain code using Java and Python programming languages.
Participate in code reviews and advocate for high‑quality coding standards.
Skills   10+ years in Java development.
3+ years in Python development.
BS or MS in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline.
Proven experience delivering software applications.
Comfort working with LLMs beyond standard developer tools like Copilot or Claude; experience making API calls to an LLM, understanding the agentic loop, and ideally having experience creating and using agents.

Experience with MCP.
Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools technologies:
Jenkins and Git Lab Runner.
Must be self‑motivated but able to work well in a team environment.
Team player; willing to coach junior team members and cooperate on cross‑functional problem solving.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
