Position: Embedded Systems Engineer at Forsta Varme
Join Forsta Varme as an Embedded Systems Engineer to take charge of electronics and firmware for scientific instruments. Collaborate with PhD scientists and engineers while developing reliable measurement systems.

This full-time role in Hanwell/Fredericton focuses on technical ownership of embedded architecture and implementation for cutting-edge scientific devices. You will design electronics, develop firmware in Embedded C, and integrate various sensors and systems. Working closely with a team, your contributions will directly impact the transition from prototypes to validated instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own architecture of embedded hardware and firmware

• Develop embedded firmware in C and automation software in Python

• Design and review schematics and PCB layouts

• Integrate and control position and temperature sensors

• Lead troubleshooting and system failure analysis

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 4+ years in embedded systems, automation, or robotics

• Proficiency in Embedded C and Python

• Experience with microcontrollers and PCB design

• Strong communication skills and circuit troubleshooting
