On-Call Delivery Agent

Canada Post seeks motivated individuals to fill temporary, on-call delivery agent positions in Fredericton, New Brunswick. In this role, you’ll be responsible for sorting deliveries, driving postal vehicles, and ensuring timely mail distribution while embracing customer service excellence. Candidates should be prepared for physical activity and various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Begin the day by sorting deliveries at the depot

• Drive a Canada Post postal vehicle for deliveries

• Deliver mail and packages on assigned routes

• Return to depot to manage incoming mail

• Fulfill duties as a responsible, safe driver

Requirements:

• Class 5 or Class G driver’s license for minimum 3 years

• Capable of lifting items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb)

• Physically fit for outdoor work

• Willing to be on-call when needed

• Fluent in English and/or French
