Senior Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Staff Accountant to support the financial operations of our client organization. The ideal candidate is experienced in core accounting functions, comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, and able to take ownership of key processes with minimal oversight.

$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr

• Assist with month‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and basic variance analysis.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate, timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and support financial reports, schedules, and documentation for internal use.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including data collection and analysis.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, cash management, and expense reporting as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.

• Contract‑to‑hire with competitive compensation between $30‑$40/hr dependent on experience.
