Job Responsibilities- Work effectively with other teacher(s) in the assigned classroom and center
- Support the social and emotional development of children and use a "positive guidance" approach to dealing with challenging behaviors
- Encourage the involvement of the families of the children in a Head Start program and support the development of relationships between children and their families
- Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other aspects of center operations
- High School Diploma
- Commitment and passion for working with children and families
- Basic computer literacy in email usage, word processing, and internet navigation
- Effective communication and written skills

- This position is year-round, called in as needed during center hours, and earns up to $15.13 per hour.

Hours:
7:30 am - 5:30 pm
- Two valid IDs, two reference letters, physical exams and TB tests, fingerprint screening (CHRI), and background checks (CARI) are required for this position.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- New hires must attend four days (Tuesday–Friday: 9 am to 3 pm) of mandatory New Employee Orientation Training at South Amboy Center, 310 Augusta Street, NJ 08879, upon completion of pre-hire documents.
