Overview
Centra State Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join its Nuclear Medicine team. The technologist will perform routine and emergency nuclear medicine procedures and mentor/train students in a collaborative learning environment, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures including IV injections of radiopharmaceuticals, use of spect camera and computers, and processing of computer-generated images.
- Keeps accurate records of receipt, disposal and administration of radioactive material.
- Performs required Quality Control procedures on camera and equipment and documents results.
- Reviews images, documents completion of cases, assembles images, requisitions, and files jackets for delivery to Radiologist.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Formal nuclear medicine technology training at an AMA-approved school.
- Previous experience preferred.
- NJ state License required.
- ARRT Certification required.
- CNMT Certification required.
- CPR Certification required.
- Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.

Compensation Range: $44.00 - $74.80 per hour. The compensation above reflects the established range from Centra State Healthcare System for this position at the time the job was posted. It may fall outside this range based on factors such as education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training. The base salary does not include additional shift rates or incentives tied to quality or productivity.
