Monmouth
County
team.
As a Seasonal Behavioral Technician, you will support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center
. Providers typically work 5–20 hours per week
, with 2–4 hour shifts primarily scheduled in the evenings. Services are hands-off
, emotionally supportive, and designed to promote client alertness, engagement, and emotional well-being.
- Provide non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children and families
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the client
- Implement strategies outlined in each child’s Individual Support Plan
- Conduct functional assessments, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Use redirection strategies to manage behavioral concerns
- Submit visit notes promptly following each session in accordance with organizational and compliance guidelines
- Respond to crises using de-escalation and safety strategies
- Engage clients in interest-based activities to support growth and awareness
- Attend case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings
- Follow all agency protocols, procedures, and professional guidelines
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred but not required. Candidates who have completed their degree are strongly encouraged to apply
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably children
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Initiative to frequently check emails for admin communications
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass all state and federal background checks

- Starting Rate: $20.00/hour

- $150 issued after 45 days of active case assignment
- $150 issued after an additional 60 days
- Must meet all eligibility criteria throughout the bonus period
- Complete all onboarding and orientation requirements
- Maintain a minimum weekly caseload of 2–3 assigned clients
- Stay actively engaged and attend all scheduled sessions
- Remain in good standing throughout the bonus period
- Consistently meet performance expectations and documentation deadlines
- Have no active Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) or disciplinary actions
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors and families
- Comply with all attendance policies and case responsibilities
