Healing
US Centers is looking for a dynamic and proactive Community Liaison to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and other service providers to enhance awareness and access to our mental health and substance abuse treatment services.
$60,000 - $65,000 per year
Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for community partners, organizations, and agencies
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to connect with various community groups and promote our services
- Conduct presentations and informational sessions to educate the community about mental health and substance use issues
- Facilitate communication between clients, families, and external organizations to ensure coordinated care
- Identify and address community needs by collaborating with local agencies
- Participate in community events, health fairs, and workshops to enhance visibility and engagement
- Gather feedback from the community to improve services and outreach efforts
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and assess the effectiveness of programs
- Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or a related role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish partnerships within the community
- Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse issues is a plus
- Flexible and able to work evenings or weekends as needed for community events
