Compensation: $30.22 - $40.80 per hour

Responsibilities and Duties- Performs specimen analysis for all testing done in house for moderate and high complexity laboratory tests.
- Acts as working technical lead of day to day operations for the main laboratory
- Assists lab manager with supervision of activities of Laboratory personnel, including Medical Technologists, MLT’s and Phlebotomists.
- Assists Lab Manager with Billing report as needed, delegating duties, insuring the report is complete by 10AM daily.
- Completes end of month QC reporting, maintenance of lab records, insures all data is reported to pertinent IQAP programs.
- Creates work schedule and monitors for absences and coverage as necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology required.
- Minimum four years experience in laboratory testing and experience using a wide array of Laboratory Instrumentation and Maintenance.
- Knowledge of COLA and CLIA regulations required.

Requires sitting/standing for extensive periods of time with the use hands to finger, handle, or feel and arms to reach or carry. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision, color perception and hearing to normal range. Requires legible handwriting.
