The Trailer Repair Technician works in a fast‑paced repair facility, performing a variety of welding and repair functions. The Technician should be familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment, air power, and hand tools.

• Use hand and air power tools to repair truck and trailer bodies.
• Perform GMAW welds on steel, stainless and aluminum in flat, horizontal, and overhead positions.
• Cut metal using shears, saw, plasma cutter, or other equipment.
• Diagnose and repair minor electrical, hydraulic, and structural issues.
• Operate air power and hand tools including grinders, floor jacks, impact gun, rivet gun, and Sawzall.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to carry out assigned work.

• Mechanically inclined with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Welding experience; must pass on‑site welding test.
• Ase certification preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 in.
• Reliable, strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently within given instructions, routines, and accepted practices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, written directions, and work orders.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Clear communication.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lb.
• Sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, crawl, and kneel as needed.
• Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral with depth perception and focus adjustment.

Manufacturing setting with frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, noise, moving mechanical parts, and weather.
