FHN is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our team of compassionate providers at FHN Memorial Hospital
. As a leader in community health for Northwest Illinois, you will have the opportunity to craft a practice that prioritizes patient relationships and high-quality care. In the hospital setting, you serve as the cornerstone of inpatient care, guiding patients and their families through their most critical health moments.

  Work a consistent 7:00 a.m.
  
  - 7:00 p.m. schedule (7-on/7-off), allowing for predictable, extended time off to focus on personal commitments, family life, and professional development.
• Clinical Autonomy: Join a collaborative environment that supports your clinical autonomy while providing robust administrative and operational backing.
• Patient-Centered Care: Oversee the comprehensive management of hospitalized patients, from admission to discharge, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication with primary care providers and specialists.
• Collaborative Team: Work alongside a supportive network of over 300 providers and a dedicated support staff, ensuring you can focus on what matters most: your patients.
• Families Treating Families: FHN boasts an impressively low turnover rate and long tenures among our staff. FHN team members are members of our community, treating our families, friends, and loved ones.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Current Illinois medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• A passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care based on respect and dignity in a rural healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a cooperative spirit for team-based care.

• Compensation Range: $220,000 - $305,000, based on experience and qualifications. Productivity + Quality bonus, and malpractice insurance.
