Our Advanced Manufacturing Group delivers cost‑effective and transformative projects to specialty chemical, electric vehicle, manufacturing, metals, pulp and paper, and other markets. We’re looking for an experienced, high‑energy HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients.
Responsibilities- Layout and design of HVAC systems.
- Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including sizing and selection calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
- Preparation of final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and related systems.
- Coordination with other disciplines to meet client needs.
- At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design.
- Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.
- Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems.
