As a caregiver with Amada Senior Care, you'll provide non-medical, in-home assistance that helps seniors and veterans maintain their independence, comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing Companionship: Build meaningful connections and offer emotional support to clients who value your presence.
• Assisting with Personal Care: Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming while preserving each client's dignity.
• Offering Medication Reminders: Help clients stay on track with their medication schedules.
• Supporting Mobility and Independence: Assist with safe movement, errands, and appointments.
• Preparing Meals and Maintaining a Comfortable Home: Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping.
• Monitoring Client Well-Being: Observe and report changes in a client's condition to support their ongoing care.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Reliable transportation.
• Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
• Ability and willingness to travel within a 20 mile radius of Freeport, Texas.
• A compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude, with a genuine desire to help others.
