Security Officer - Access Control Monitor
Location: Freeport, TX

Pay Rate: $50.00 / Hour

What You'll Do- Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions for entry and exit in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries or requests for assistance.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual or suspicious activity.
- Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.
- Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly environment at the chemical or petrochemical location.
- A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
