Responsible for the construction of forms for placement of concrete structures.

• Constructs built-in-place or prefabricated steel or wooden forms, according to specifications, placement of concrete structures.
• Studies blueprints and diagrams to determine type and dimensions of forms to be constructed.
• Erects built-in-place forms or assembles and installs prefabricated forms on construction site according to blueprint specifications.
• Inserts spreaders and tie rods between opposite faces of form to maintain dimensions.
• Anchors and braces forms to fixed objects using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, planks and timbers.
• Responsible for adhering to all company safety and OSHA regulations.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a carpenter.
• Must have ability to read blueprints.
• High school or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in harmony with co-workers.

• Ability to lift at least 100 lbs. frequently.
• Excessive amounts of overtime and weekend work.
• Second and third shift work may be required.
• Excessive amounts of bending and stooping.
