Job Summary:

The Electrical Heat Trace Helper assists Heat Trace Technician sand Electricianswiththeinstallation ,maintenance,testing,andrepairofelectricalheattracingsystemsusedonpiping,tanks,vessels,andotherindustrialequipment.

Thispositionrequiresworkinginindustrialenvironmentswhilefollowingallsafetyproceduresandcompanystandards.

• Assistwithinstallingelectricheattracecablesystemsonpipes,tanks,andprocessequipment.
• Helppull,route,secure,andterminateheattracecables.
• Install insulation,heattracelabels,andweatherproofingmaterialsasdirected.
• Usehandandpowertoolssafelyandproperly.
• Assistwithtroubleshootingandrepairingheattracingsystems.
• Readandfollowworkorders,blueprints,drawings,andinstallationinstructions.
• Maintainacleanandorganizedworkarea.
• Followallcompanysafetypolicies,site-specific requirements,andOSHAregulations.
• Performmaterialhandling,loading,unloading,andinventorytasks.
• Assistwithinspectionsandtestingofheattracesystems.
• Workatheights,inconfinedspaces,andinvariousweatherconditionsasrequired.

• Previous industrial,construction,orelectricalexperienceisaplusbutnotrequired.
• Abilitytousebasichandtoolsandmeasuringdevices.
• Strongattentiontodetailandwillingnesstolearn.
• Abilitytofollowdirectionsandworkaspartofateam.
• Reliabletransportationandpunctualattendance.
• Abilitytopassrequireddrugscreens,background checks,andsite-specific training.

• Mustbeabletowalkandclimbexceptwhenperformingnon-field duties.
• Sufficientclarityofspeechandhearingorothercommunicationcapabilities,withorwithoutreasonableaccommodation,whichpermitsemployeetocommunicateeffectively.
