The Rope Access Teamwillberesponsibleforcarryingoutstandardropeaccessoperationstoperforminspections ,repairs,andotherindustrialworktasksonindustrialequipment.
The Teammusthavetheabilitytoperformworkthatisphysicallydemanding,beabletocommunicateeffectivelywitheachotherandtheabilitytobeabletoresolveissuesastheyarise.
- Abidebyandfollowestablished Marquis Safetyrulesandpractices .
- Uses Industrial Rope Accessmethodsandrelatedequipmenttoaccessandcompleteawidevarietyofmaintenance ,repairsandotherindustrialworktaskswhileonropesorindifficultaccessareas.
- Maintainsasafe,secureandhealthyenvironmentbyadheringtotheIRAT/SPRATOSHAstandardsandpractices.
- Ensuresteammembersutilizeproperpersonalprotectiveequipment.
- Inspectsandverifiesropeaccesssystemsandcomponentsbeforeuse.
- Participatesinrequiredtrainingandmaintainsaworkingunderstandingofropeaccesssafeworkingpractices.
- Performsdailyinspectionsandverifiesropeaccesssystemsandcomponentsareworkingproperly.
- Recognizeworksitehazardsthroughcompleting Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Maintainsproficiencyatrescuetechniquesandassistinrescuesasdirectedandinaccordancewithcertificationlevel.
- IRATALevelI,II certified
- Insualtion Experience
- Highschooldiplomaorequivalent
- Mustpossessexcellentcommunication,interpersonal,organizationalandproblemsolvingskills
- Mustbeabletopassabackgroundandhairfollicletesting.
- Complywithcustomersjobsitesafetyrequirements
- Abilitytoworkatheightswhileperformingworktask.
- Valid Drivers'License
- Performsphysicalactivitiesthatrequireconsiderablyuseofarmsandlegsandmovingthewholebody,suchasclimbing,lifting,balancing,and walking
- Abilitytolift
50pounds. - MusthaveeitherNCCER/NACECertifications.
