Platform Engineer; Kubernetes & Infrastructure

You are comfortable working in cloud-native environments and want to actively shape and operate modern platform solutions. You think in terms of automation, scalability, and reliability? Then take on a key role in building and running robust infrastructure and platform services.

• You design, build, operate, and continuously improve Kubernetes environments.
• You ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of platform and application services.
• You enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting, for example Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack.
• You collaborate closely with infrastructure and network teams on virtualization and storage solutions.
• You administer core platform services such as identity management, DNS, and related components.
• You manage and optimize databases and messaging systems.
• You support development teams in deploying and operating applications across the full lifecycle.
• You drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives.

• Strong experience with cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes.
• Solid knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, for example Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack.
• Experience in Linux system administration, preferably Debian-based systems.
• Good understanding of networking, TCP/IP, firewalls, troubleshooting.
• Experience with virtualization and storage technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code, for example Ansible, Terraform.
• Familiar with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Structured, solution‑oriented working style and strong team spirit.
• Fluent in English or German.
• Nice to have:
  
  Experience with databases and messaging systems, for example MySQL, Mongo
  
  DB, Redis, messaging platforms.
• Familiarity with container tooling and deployment solutions, for example Helm.
• Experience in hybrid environments, on-premises and cloud.
