Motorsport is seeking a highly organized, efficient, and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist (Operations Support) to join our growing Customer Service team. This position plays a critical role in managing incoming customer phone calls while simultaneously supporting a high volume of email inquiries and daily customer service operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide efficient phone support by quickly identifying customer needs, resolving straightforward inquiries, and directing more complex requests into our established email support processes.

The goal is to provide customers with clear direction and timely assistance while maintaining efficient call handling. In addition to phone support, this position is responsible for managing operational customer service requests, including order inquiries, returns, RMAs, cancellations, shipping issues, and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is passionate about the automotive industry, particularly European performance vehicles and Volkswagen Auto Group (VAG) brands, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

They demonstrate exceptional task-switching and prioritization skills and can independently evaluate competing responsibilities to determine the most effective approach to their daily workload. The successful candidate will be comfortable answering phones, responding to emails, managing operational requests, and transitioning between tasks frequently.

They will understand when to resolve an issue immediately, when to escalate, and how to prioritize competing responsibilities to maintain overall department efficiency. While previous experience with Audi, Volkswagen, or other European performance vehicles is highly valued, the ability to manage a demanding workload, make sound decisions, and provide an excellent customer experience is equally important. Above all, we're looking for someone who can see the bigger picture, stay organized under pressure, and take ownership of their workload while contributing to a team of passionate automotive enthusiasts.

This Role is Not a Fit If You do not have previous customer-facing service or support experience. You lack a genuine interest in automobiles, automotive performance, or enthusiast culture. You have little interest in working within a fast-paced, enthusiast-driven automotive performance environment. You struggle with frequent task switching, managing competing priorities, or handling high-volume workloads. You prefer lengthy customer interactions rather than efficiently resolving inquiries or directing them through established support processes.

Key Responsibilities Phone Support and Customer Triage Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming customer phone calls, providing professional, friendly, and efficient assistance. Quickly assess customer needs, resolve straightforward inquiries, and transition more complex issues into the appropriate email support channels. Maintain efficient call handling practices, recognizing when an issue requires additional research or follow-up rather than extended phone conversations.
