PositionDescription
Ohlone College is seeking a pool of qualified applicants for temporary part‑time teaching assignments. Assignments may include day, evening, and weekend courses and may be in‑person, online, or hybrid.
Duties and Responsibilities- Object‑Oriented Programming Using C++, Java, JavaScript (ECMAScript), Python, Ruby, PHP, and other modern programming languages.
- Related web technologies such as cloud programming, CSS3, and HTML.
- Virtualization using VMWare, QEMU, Virtual Box, etc.
- Introduction to database concepts;
MySQL software.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering;
- OR Bachelor’s in either field and a Master’s in Mathematics, Cybernetics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Engineering;
- OR Bachelor’s in Engineering and a Master’s in Cybernetics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Administration;
- OR Bachelor’s in Mathematics and a Master’s in Cybernetics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Administration;
- OR Bachelor’s degree in any of the above and a Master’s in Information Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Systems;
- OR equivalent experience.

Foreign TranscriptsForeign transcripts must include a course‑by‑course analysis with an equivalency statement from a certified evaluation service.
