Job Title: Learning Specialist

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay: $36.50/h - $40.38/h

Contract Duration: 12 months (chance for extension/conversion)

The Learning Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering supervisory, management, and non-technical skills training programs for internal staff. This role partners with functional teams to assess training needs, create effective course content, and ensure learning outcomes are applicable and impactful.

• Perform training needs assessments to evaluate gaps and determine the effectiveness of proposed training programs.
• Collaborate with functional organizations and stakeholders to define course objectives and content specifications.
• Design and prepare comprehensive lesson plans, including instructional methods, training media, and supporting documentation.
• Facilitate classroom lectures, workshops, and group training sessions.
• Evaluate participant learning and engagement during training sessions.
• Conduct post-training follow-up to assess the applicability and effectiveness of course material in the workplace.
• Continuously improve training content and delivery methods based on feedback and performance outcomes.
• Strong instructional and facilitation skills
• Experience with training needs assessment and program evaluation
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and lesson-planning abilities

• Experience delivering adult learning or corporate training programs
• Familiarity with multiple training delivery methods (classroom, group sessions, blended learning)
• Background in supervisory or management development training
