Position Overview

Quality Engineer with a strong foundation in ISO standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control methodologies to support our high-performance hardware manufacturing operations. This role will focus on ensuring our products meet rigorous quality, safety, and environmental requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support quality assurance activities across the hardware manufacturing process, from incoming components to finished systems.
  • Conduct ISO 9001, 13485, and 14001 audits and ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
  • Perform product regulatory audits for UL, CCC, MET, SGS, FDA, and other applicable certifications for computer hardware products.
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to analyze production data and maintain product consistency.
  • Ensure adherence to RoHS, REACH, PFAS, FMD, and CoC material compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, and 5S practices to optimize quality processes.
  • Maintain accurate calibration and maintenance records for test and inspection equipment.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering (or related technical field).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role within manufacturing (preferably in computer hardware, electronics, or related fields).
  • Solid understanding of ISO standards, regulatory audits, and hardware product compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with SPC tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with quality management software.
Required Skills
  • ISO Standards: ISO 9001, 13485, 14001 compliance and audit execution.
  • Regulatory Audits: UL, CCC, MET, SGS, FDA for computer hardware/electronics.
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC): Data-driven quality improvement.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with PCB assembly, component inspection, or hardware testing processes.
  • Familiarity with ESD safety and electronics manufacturing best practices.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work across cross-functional hardware development teams.
