Manufacturing Engineer, Electronics Engineer
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be the crucial link between our design and production teams. You will evaluate new designs for manufacturability, support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, and provide hands‑on troubleshooting on the production floor. This collaborative role is key to ensuring our high‑quality standards are met from design through to final assembly.
- Evaluate the manufacturability of customer prints, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and circuit designs to ensure component compatibility.
- Provide cost‑effective design recommendations for wire harness and cable assembly, applying system requirements of continuous and discrete signal processing applications.
- Assist in New Product Introduction (NPI) from the electronic and FPGA design and circuit development phase to production.
- Collaborate with Project Management (PM), Sales, Inside Sales, Procurement, and Process Engineering teams to align engineering efforts with both electrical and manufacturing design requirements to achieve business objectives.
- Work closely with production teams in Fremont and other manufacturing sites to ensure high‑quality standards in electronic assembly and troubleshoot circuit‑related production issues.
- Maintain engineering documentation, work procedures, and manufacturing process guidelines, incorporating best practices in circuit design, electronic system development, and manufacturability standards.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with coursework in:
- C and D systems
- Digital design with FPGAs
Salary Range: $94,682/year to $100,000/year
