As a key member of our Project Management Team, you’ll perform client management, interfacing, updates and presentations at all levels of management. You’ll partner with Project Managers to ensure complete awareness of project cost, risks and provide alternative strategies for mitigation or opportunities. Jacobs Engineering Group utilizes advanced Enterprise System platforms and data analysis solutions to support service excellence.
You’ll have the opportunity to make a huge impact by thoroughly understanding the principles of cost control and estimating. You will proactively monitor and communicate budget, actual status, and forecast costs/labor hours for projects. Using your expertise, you’ll create client and internal status reports that effectively communicate schedule status and identify critical path. Additionally, there will be opportunities to develop and maintain productive cross‑discipline relationships within the project team.
Here’swhat you’ll need
- 3‑4 years of scheduling experience, proficient in P6 schedule analysis and reporting.
- Prefer someone with construction experience and who has worked on complex projects $25M and above.
- Can build a schedule from scratch after coordinating with various teams—engineering, project management and construction.
- Can explain variances, delays and track and monitor contractor schedules.
- Cost Analysis and SAP experience is a bonus.
Must be local to the San Ramon/Oakland/San Jose/Monterey Areas, to go to the office as needed.
