Engineering Technician

Engineering team is looking for highly motivated technicians to support accelerated product durability testing. This role is very hands-on; technicians personally assemble and disassemble vehicle components, build test fixtures, and execute tests. A successful candidate for this role must have a passion to learn and develop new skills. All team members collaborate to develop and implement effective solutions quickly.

Responsibilities include:

• Execute tests: setup, perform inspections, conduct maintenance, and retrofits
• Document and report issues identified during tests or inspections
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve mechanical & electrical issues discovered
• Support engineers in instrumentation and data acquisition
• Assist and learn from other technicians and engineers
• Assemble & wire test fixtures
• Ability to read wiring diagrams
• Work with fabrication equipment (drills, Band Saw)
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Experience with measurement tools (multi-meters, force gauges, torque wrenches)

Ability to use basic measurement tools such as caliper, digital multimeter, and DAQs Analytical problem-solving skills Basic experience with MS office tools (Outlook/Excel/Word) Strong organization skills Experience with measurement tools (multi-meters, force gauges, torque wrenches) Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems Experience working with low voltage components. Previous experience with CAN communication

Entry Level

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
