Tax Operations Analyst

Hybrid: 3 days per week in office

OTC is seeking an analyst to help support its core remits. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable and capable of balancing multiple deliverables o, highly analytical, and intellectually curious with a powerful desire to solve problems.

• Participate in the execution of the Tax Operations Quality Assurance Testing Process
• Supporting strategic initiatives and projects, including automation of OTC processes
• Contribute to reviewing and enhancing controls to further mature Tax Compliance

• 1-3 years of Financial Services Experience, ideally with Operations Tax experience
• 1-3 years of experience with IRS Rules Chapter 3 (NRA), Chapter 4 (FATCA), and Chapter 61 (Back-up Withholding)
• CRS and/or Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Client Tax Requirements is a plus
• Analytical and critical thinking skills for interpreting tax rules and logic
• Attention to detail in validating documentation and reconciling client activity
• Ability to manage manual and automated control processes, including but not limited to QA testing
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; inclusive of sound judgement
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience with Alteryx and/or Power
