$40.00/hr - $45.26/hr

Full-time Milieu Therapist responsible for providing individual and group clinical services to assist patients in meeting their bio-psycho-social needs. Services include individualized assessment and consultation, crisis intervention, short-term family therapy, and conducting group therapy on assigned unit(s). The Milieu Therapist collaborates with unit staff to manage treatment activities, including the level system, treatment plans, behavioral plans, and individualized treatment programming. The role includes goals meetings with patients and their families and discharge planning to ensure safe transitions to the next level of care.

• Provide individual and group clinical services for patients to meet bio-psycho-social needs.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to manage unit activities and treatment plans.
• Conduct goals meetings with patients and families; assist with discharge planning and safety planning.
• Support crisis intervention and short-term family therapy as part of care on the unit.

• Education:
  
  A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  One year direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting and experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
• Licensure:
  Registered and in good standing with the BBS or active license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, or other applicable license (LCSW, MFT, or Licensed Psychologist preferred).

Education:
