A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Fremont, CA, serving a diverse student population in an educational setting. This role involves providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders to students with varying needs. The position requires some travel to multiple school locations to deliver direct services and collaborate with educational staff.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student goals and progress
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and certification as an SLP
- Experience working with children in a school setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of educational laws and IDEA regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseload and documentation effectively
- Flexibility to travel between school sites within the assigned area

Location:
Fremont, California
