Medical Assistant; Part Time

Part‑time Medical Assistant at our Fremont Office. The Medical Assistant performs medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required.

Part‑time, less than 30 hours per week. Available Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays during operating hours of 7:00 am–7:30 pm. Flexibility to help cover shifts in a team environment is needed.

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care offered to patients and providers.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures.
• Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, and prior authorizations within established guidelines.
• Understand provider‑to‑patient flow and anticipate next steps to the best of your ability.
• Prepare rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper working order.
• Provide pre‑care and post‑care treatment instructions as needed.
• Scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies daily, alerting Head MA and/or GM of low‑level supplies.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested.
• Attend all in‑house training and continued education opportunities.

• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer service skills.
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.

Hourly Pay Rate: $23 – $26.
