Job DescriptionInsight Global is in search of a System Engineering Manager for one of its customers in the greater Grand Rapids, Mi area. This person will be responsible for delivering scalable and cost-effective IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure system performance aligned with business needs. This role will involve managing a small team of Engineers and Administrators, overseeing disaster recovery plans and system availability.
Key responsibilities will involve system and infrastructure planning, leading innovation, and ensuring compliance with security measures.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of previous experience in System Engineering and Administration
- 3 or more years of previous management experience
- strong understanding of infrastructure, VMware, Microsoft suite, data centers and networking
- Certifications are a plus
