The mission of the Enterprise Infrastructure & Security (EIS) team is to provide best-in‑class infrastructure, data, and security services to Meta its partners. We build enterprise products for Meta first. As one of the leading engineering teams in the enterprise world our goal is to provide a solid foundation and platform for Meta businesses to build services and run workloads.

As a Windows Systems Engineer, you will build the infrastructure for our high traffic, high visibility services. You will provide operational support for critical services that enable connected experiences found across Meta. This position will be part of the Enterprise Engineering CPE team that manages, implements and supports MDM solutions enabling the company to grow rapidly and connect the world.

• Build, scale, and secure the Windows environment within Meta enterprise infrastructure, a heterogeneous environment containing varied operating systems and applications
• Apply modern engineering methodologies such as Infrastructure-as-Code, container orchestration, and software-defined storage
• Implement systems that are scalable, automated, monitored, and well-documented, and train others to take on operations
• Find ways to leverage the scale and complexity of the larger Meta production infrastructure to solve problems for enterprise customers
• Participate in incident root cause analysis through multiple infrastructure layers (compute, storage, network)

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 3+ years experience in systems engineering
• 3+ years experience automating the management of infrastructure and services
• 3+ years experience working with monitoring and configuration management tools such as Chef and Power Shell DSC
• 3+ years experience Power Shell scripting (developing advanced functions & modules)
• 3+ years experience coding in a object oriented or function language such as: C#, Python, Ruby, PHP, Rust, or Go
• Thorough understanding of Windows operating system internals
• Demonstrated experience in completing tasks and small/medium features with minimal guidance
• Experience using source control, such as git or mercurial
• Proven experience of pivoting rapidly in response to changing priorities

• Experience with Mobile Device Management Platform such as Airwatch, Mobile Iron, Intune, Device Enrollment Program, Android/Apple Enterprise Device Management
• Knowledge of MDM architecture, design, and implementation for Enterprise devices
• MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Prior experience with APIs to streamline administration, management, and monitoring of services
• Prior experience building services, Platform as a Service or internal clouds
