Airawath is building an AI‑driven consumer product focused on relationships, gifting, celebrations, and social interactions , with future‑ready commerce and fintech foundations. We obsess over simplicity, reliability, speed of iteration, and product polish .

Who this role is best for

This role is ideal for a high‑caliber, hands‑on startup technical leader who has already helped ship products in fast‑paced environments and is ready to step into a bigger seat.

If you are a first‑time CTO or first‑time technical co‑founder but you have :

• led small startup engineering teams,
• shipped consumer‑grade products end‑to‑end,
• and can still code heavily, you will fit well here.

What you’ll own (end‑to‑end) Builder CTO Expectations (hands‑on is core)

• Heavy coding ownership early on (expect ~ 70% hands‑on while we build in loops)
• Architecture, standards, release hygiene, and delivery cadence
• Leading and leveling up a small team; transitioning core work in‑house over time

Applied AI + Personalization

• Recommendation foundations : retrieval, ranking, embeddings, feedback loops, evaluation
• AI UX : chat‑style interaction patterns, trust cues, guardrails, and failure‑mode handling
• A practical path toward stronger model / IP ownership over time

Consumer Product Engineering

• High‑quality mobile and web experience (speed + polish)
• E‑invitations reliability : reminders / notifications that actually work
• Social interaction patterns that are simple to use but deep in experience

Commerce + Fintech‑ready Architecture (phased)

• Partner / affiliate integrations and marketplace patterns
• Security‑first design : permissions, auditability, privacy‑by‑design
• Scalable backend foundations for future transaction flows

Current stack

• Next.js / React
• Python
• AWS
• Modern CI / CD, observability, performance, secure‑by‑default engineering

What we value (signals of real startup experience)

• Evidence of shipping : product links, Git Hub / PRs, measurable outcomes
• Strong system design judgment (scalability, latency, reliability, cost)
• Production‑minded AI experience (evaluation, iteration loops, guardrails)
• Leadership: has led engineers, owned delivery, can recruit and raise standards
• High ownership and crisp communication

Commitment and focus

This is a full‑time founding role built for someone who wants to make Airawath their primary professional focus and build for the long term.

Compensation

Founder‑aligned package : salary + founding‑team incentives (details discussed directly).
