We have an excellent opportunity for a SMT In-Process Quality Control professional to join our team in our Fremont, CA location. This person will report to the Manufacturing Manager of Backplanes.

As an SMT In-Process Quality Control professional, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the surface mount assembly line.

• Read and follow documentation and assembly drawings and perform operations as described.
• Perform quality self-inspection of all completed work.
• Download assembly and re-flow programs and set up equipment for operation.
• Operate and maintain the surface mount assembly equipment including the solder printer, pic-n-place machine, and reflow oven.

• Experience with automated surface mount assembly equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and assemble backplanes per Elma documentation.
• Ability to recognize documentation and manufacturing discrepancies.
• Knowledge of standard automated assembly practices and procedures.
• Ability to communicate well with managers and co-workers.
• Ability to read and/or work from mechanical drawings with detailed instructions.

• Requires minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Requires minimum 1-3 years of related experience.

Target Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 hourly, dependent upon experience.
